Alberta used car dealer problem: when should I complain to AMVIC?
AMVIC can look into many complaints involving new and used vehicle sales, repairs, unlicensed businesses, advertising, legislated codes of conduct and some refundable-deposit issues. Alberta also requires automotive businesses to meet disclosure and bill-of-sale rules. Keep the ad, bill of sale, vehicle-history disclosures, repair records, deposit records and dealer messages.
