Australia debt collector keeps calling: how much contact is too much?

ACCC guidance says debt collectors should limit telephone contact to a maximum of 3 calls a week or 10 a month, generally between 7:30am and 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 9pm on weekends. Harassment, intimidation and misleading conduct are not allowed. Keep a contact log with dates, times, numbers and what was said. Official source: ACCC debt collection rules.
