Australia family violence order: does the federal family court make it?
No. The Federal Circuit and Family Court says family violence orders are made under state or territory law. They have different names in different jurisdictions, such as an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order in NSW. If a family violence order exists, the Court must be told about it because it can affect parenting proceedings. Official source: FCFCOA. Guide: https://getinstantlaw.com/family-relationships
