Australia returning from parental leave: can I ask for flexible work?
Eligible employees can request flexible working arrangements, including part-time work, different start/finish times or working from home. Fair Work says employers must respond in writing within 21 days and can only refuse on reasonable business grounds after genuinely trying to reach agreement. Official source: Fair Work Ombudsman.
