Canada auto insurance claim dispute: what should I do if the insurer says no?

Start with the insurer’s own complaint process and ask for a written final decision. Canada’s Financial Consumer Agency says home, auto and business insurance complaints can then go to the General Insurance OmbudService for an independent review, while provincial or territorial regulators can also deal with conduct and regulatory issues.
