England boundary agreement: can we record who maintains the fence or hedge?
Yes. HM Land Registry says a boundary agreement can record the agreed position of a boundary and can also state who is responsible for maintaining a feature such as a hedge, wall or fence. If at least one property is registered, the agreement can potentially be recorded on the register. Official source: HM Land Registry.
