England & Wales small claims track: what is the normal financial limit?
The Civil Procedure Rules say the small claims track is normally used for straightforward claims worth no more than £10,000, subject to important lower thresholds and exceptions for some personal injury, housing disrepair, harassment and unlawful-eviction claims.
