NSW motor accident injury: how long do I have to lodge a CTP claim?
SIRA says a statutory benefits claim should generally be made within 3 months of the crash. If you want weekly payments backdated to the day after the crash, the claim should generally be made within 28 days. Report the crash to police and seek medical treatment promptly.
