NSW workers compensation: did the rules change in 2026?
Yes. NSW workers compensation laws changed from 1 July 2026, including new rules for psychological injuries and permanent impairment. From 1 October 2026, compensable medical and related treatment must also be reasonable and necessary. Workers should check the current SIRA guidance because transitional rules can matter.
