Queensland workers compensation: how long do I have to lodge a claim?
WorkSafe Queensland says a workers compensation claim usually needs to be lodged within 6 months from the date you first saw a doctor about the work-related injury or illness, unless an accepted reasonable excuse applies. A work capacity certificate is generally needed with the claim. Official source: WorkSafe Queensland. Guide: https://getinstantlaw.com/au/topics/workers-compensation
